Felipe Massa driving the most powerful 500 that Fiat have ever made

Should you come across Ferrari Formula One Driver, Felipe Massa, driving his new Fiat 500 don’t be tempted to take him on because not only is the talented Brazilian one of the fastest drivers around but also because his 500 is rather special – it’s the most powerful 500 that Fiat have ever made.
Sitting underneath the cute little white Fiat 500’s bonnet is the same turbocharged 120 bhp engine that can be found in its bigger brother, the recently arrived in Australia Fiat Punto Sport T-Jet. Added to his go-faster kit are special 16 inch diamond alloy finish wheels and chunky red brake callipers.

This means that the Ferrari driver who picked up six pole positions and three wins in the 2007 F1 Season en route to gifting Ferrari the Manufacturer’s title and assisting team mate Kimi Raikkonen to his driver’s title will be effortlessly quicker in his 500.
But the rest of the Felipe 500 is available in Australia – the pearl white paintwork, the brown cloth interior, the electric skydome sunroof and chrome trim pack are all options on the Fiat 500 to order now – ready for delivery after the Australian Fiat 500 launch at the Melbourne International Motor Show.

One of the largest groups of race and rally versions of the original Fiat 500 will gather in Belgium in July in a bid to repeat one of the great motorsport victories when the diminutive Fiat took part in one of the classic endurance rallies, the Liege-Brescia-Liege Rally, and not only won after 3300 gruelling km, but also filled six of the top ten places.
